High Protein / High Fiber Pizza Pockets

It's pizza, except it's smaller and tastier and better for you. It's a high protein pizza made with Flourish! These pizza pockets are delicious and sure to impress even the pickiest of eaters. Plus, a few simple ingredient swaps transform the dish into one that helps you achieve your goals without having to give up your favorite snacks. And thanks to the high-fiber content of Flourish flour, you can enjoy a treat that supports digestive health and improves immunity by feeding the healthy bacteria that naturally live in your gut. Ingredients:

Dough:

-400g Flourish flour

-2 tsp baking powder

-410g low fat greek yogurt

-Italian herb seasoning

-Garlic powder

-Salt

Toppings: 

-Pizza sauce

-Low fat shredded cheese

-Pepperoni

Instructions:

  1. Add all dough ingredients to a medium/large bowl and combine, kneading to form one large dough ball.
  2. Cut and divide the dough ball into 8 equal sized balls, flattening each one with your palm until it is the thickness of a standard pizza dough.
  3. Add pizza sauce, low-fat shredded cheese, and pepperoni to the top of each (to your liking).
  4. Pinch the sides and corners, bringing to the center to seal as if it were a dumpling.
  5. Flip and gently press to flatten.
  6. Cook each pocket on low-medium heat for 5-6 minutes each side.
  7. Serve and enjoy the gooey goodness!
